Privacy, 18+, and location

Checking in Single is for adults. We ask for your date of birth during onboarding to enforce that. Other people only ever see your age, never the date itself.

Your email (to sign in), first name, date of birth, gender, photos, About Me, interests, and dating preferences.

Photos are stored privately and shown through short-lived links. A leaked URL is not meant to last.

We do not store your last name, phone number, home or work address, or a history of where you have been.

Your device location is used for two things: showing venues near where you are standing, and confirming you are within 250 metres when you check in.

Coordinates are never stored. They are used once at check-in and then discarded. Other people only learn the venue you chose to check into — not how far you are from them, and not a map of you.

First name, age, photos, About Me, interests, and — only while you are checked in — the venue and whether you want someone to come say hi.

Nobody can browse who is at a venue without checking in there themselves. There is no messaging, no swipe deck, and no map of people.
